If you think you or a friend may have been spiked:
Tell the bar manager, security, or a member of staff
If not requiring urgent medical attention, ask for a NNUH anti-spiking kit at bar/club, or SOS bus
Call an ambulance if their condition deteriorates
Stay with them and keep talking to them
Remember spiking is a crime – you may want to involve the Police
Don’t let them go home on their own
Don’t let them leave with someone you don’t know or trust
Don’t let them drink more alcohol - this could lead to more serious problems
In an emergency always dial 999. If you are unsure, dial NHS 111
